The 5K course (view map) is flat and fast, good for a new PR.  The Start and Finish lines are located on the grounds of the Historic Congressional Cemetery, 1801 E Street, SE, Washington, DC (near the Stadium-Armory Metro Station).  The course crosses over paved roads, passes through the cemetery gate onto the Anacostia River Trail, heads along the riverfront trail, then north (toward RFK Stadium and the East Capitol Bridge), then back along the Anacostia River to the cemetery, and back toward the Chapel.  



Water will be available at the start/finish as well as close to the 1.5-mile mark.
