GET YOUR PRIDE WEEKEND OFF TO A RUNNING START

 

The DC Front Runners Pride Run is returning for the seventh time on Friday, June 7, 2019, and bringing a friendly competitive event and evening of community celebration.

 

This charitable race benefits local LGBTQ organizations, including the Team DC Student-Athlete Scholarship, Wanda Alston Foundation, and Casa Ruby. The event is held at Historic Congressional Cemetery, and is open to 1,600 runners from across the metropolitan area and beyond. The chip-timed 5K run and walk is a great way to kick off Capital Pride in Washington DC.

 

The DC Front Runners is a running, walking, and social club serving Washington DC's LGBTQ community and friends since 1981.

 

The DC Front Runners Pride Run Foundation is our not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is responsible for overseeing event operations, managing finances and working with race sponsors and charities.

 

Pacers Event Management handles the Pride Run race registration and logistics.
