RACE FAQ
Was my registration processed? Can I correct my race registration?
If you think you registered but did not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, please check the list of confirmed race participants. If your name is missing or you need to make a correction to your registration, please send your inquiry here.
How can I manage my race team?
Teams captains can manage their teams and add or remove team members by logging into their RunSignUp account (go to your "Profile" setting on the top of the page) here.
What are the differences between a race team and a charity squad?
Race Teams are organized to "compete" against other teams that are participating in the 5K race. Teams can have an unlimited number of participants, but only the four fastest times will be used for scoring. At least one scoring member of a mixed team must be of a different gender. You can set up or join a team when you register for the race or request a team captain to add you if you have already registered.
Charity Squads are runners and walkers that are organized to team fundraise for one of our race charities. Forming or joining a charity squad is a fun way to participate in the Pride Run alongside friends, family, and colleagues with whom you have been fundraising. As you cross the finish line, celebrate the completion of your goal together. Set up your Charity Squad here .
Please note that you can run with a different race team and fundraise with a different charity squad, OR join a race team and charity squad with the same members (the organizer should set up the competitive race team during the online registration process or by logging on RunSignUp here; the team fundraising squad can be set up here.
May I transfer my bib to someone else? Do you have a waiting list?
Registrants are solely responsible for initiating bib exchanges via our RunSignUp registration website. The Pride Run Foundation does not maintain a waiting list or issue refunds. You can now directly transfer your bib on the RunSignUp registration website. If you have identified a person for bib exchange, please log into your RunSignUp account, select the Pride Run from your list of races found within your "Profile", click the "Transfer to Another Runner" button, and follow the instructions. There is a $10 administrative fee.
May I pick up a friend's bib or the bibs of my entire team?
You may pick up a friend's bib or a teammate's bib so long as you have their permission. Please have access to their confirmation email in case there are any questions at packet pickup.
If you wish to collect an entire team's bibs, please come to the Sunday packet pickup at Pacers 14th Street between 2 and 4:15 p.m. or the Thursday packet pickup between 6 and 8:15 p.m. There will be no team pick up at Congressional Cemetery on race day. Please be prepared to wait as a volunteer works to put together your team's packets as quickly as possible. Notify the race director at priderun@dcfrontrunners.org at least two days in advance and we will make every attempt to have team packets ready for you.
Please bring a government-issued ID verifying your date of birth (e.g., Driver's License, Passport) to the bib pickup if you would like to receive a post-race beer garden bracelet.
How do I get to Congressional Cemetery?
We encourage participants to take Metro to the Stadium-Armory station (Blue, Orange or Silver line), which is a short walk to the front entrance of Congressional Cemetery.
There is street parking around Congressional Cemetery, but it is very limited. Please obey all parking restriction signs if you drive.
Do you offer a bag check?
Yes, you may check a bag with volunteers at the bag check station in Congressional Cemetery.
Can I walk the race?

May I run or walk with a stroller?
